No sausage...no love
Just a lot of fuckin rain.
20 MPH SE wind 40 degrees and light rain = 12.8 MPH and a pissy pissy rider
Thank you to MBV for helping me survive this crappy day

Two-fer gentle hill climb
So i'm realizing now that Map My Ride is great for thinking about and communicating routes but really bad at estimating altitude differences.
We had a fantastic twofer this weekend based around some sound principles:
1) Wake n Bike
2) eat light, but eat at good intervals
3) warm up before climbing
4) ride easy, the hills will make it hard when you hit em.
FANTASTIC results:
Saturday's Route
Beautiful and easy till that one hill
Sunday's Route
Check out the elevation profile on this one...looks gentle...the hill on bluff is constant and serious
