I'm having A. over at the amazing
Cronometro give my 520 a once-over. I know I'm going to have a new chain on it when its done and finally have all 27 cogs available. I'm actually giddy at the thought of having a clean, functioning transmission.
The day prior, I restrung my derailleur cables and wrapped my bars. So the 520 is moving into its '08 incarnation.
I do love that machine, I wonder if there's room in my life for a light touring bike for the LONG (>300k) and fast rides, or if I should spend my bike cash on modifying the 520.
