Trying to have faith in Blogger again

Alrighty, So D. and his ultra light carbon feather led me on exactly what my legs needed post NYC. We took Sunday morning to hammer out this route. Ave. 24.5 KPH. Perfect weather. Of interest to those that know and hate/love the Dunlop Hollow Hill o Death, This route marks the elevation and steepness of that climb perfectly (~65K ish).

The route is an accidental modifacation of the Bombay Bicycle Club, Madison's Rock'n to Roxbury (one wonders why not just make it Rockn2RXBRY)

Blogger and Spam

So I'm assuming that my Blog is back up and running. For the last 4 weeks I've had to make 3 separate requests for Blogger to unblock this blog as they thought it was spam. Frustrating and really rather useless for someone to use as a communication tool.

I certainly have discouraged others from using Blogger.

All right! So we ran the run on sunday!
There will undoubtedly be a ride report from our dear new riding partner, but suffice it to say, "Christ, thats a lot of fuckin' hills!"

5/21 Ride

40 K
27k/hr

Route: Start Monroe St./Downhill Arboretum/Clockwise Mendota 1.5x/end Cronometro

Song highlights:

New Chain

I'm having A. over at the amazing Cronometro give my 520 a once-over.  I know I'm going to have a new chain on it when its done and finally have all 27 cogs available.  I'm actually giddy at the thought of having a clean, functioning transmission.

The day prior, I restrung my derailleur cables and wrapped my bars.  So the 520 is moving into its '08 incarnation.

I do love that machine, I wonder if there's room in my life for a light touring bike for the LONG (>300k) and fast rides, or if I should spend my bike cash on modifying the 520.

Welcome

Honestly, this is just for me to keep a loose touring journal.
I'm starting to infect all my friends blogs with my current two wheeled obsession.
Hopefully, music picture and experiences from the two wheels will be recorded here.
